An artist of high integrity and sensitivity, Rus Nerwich has a reputation for being an innovative and dedicated musician. Committed to using music as a vehicle to uplift, communicate and empower, Nerwich is highly regarded by both musicians and the listening public, his album “Beyond the Walls” is recognized to be one of the most interesting and daring musical works to come out of South Africa in recent years. Nerwich recorded his last album in Buenos Aires in 2005. Recent highlight performances were at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival as well as The Spier Arts Festival.

Recognized as one of South Africa’s most important up and coming musicians, Petersen has performed with Winston Mankunku, Feya Faku, as well as a wide range of visiting international acts. A creative, inventive and highly educated musician Petersen has toured Japan, Mexico as well as spending time teaching in Sweden. He is also a regular performer at the Cape Town international Jazz Festival.

Kevin Gibson is a musical veteran whose career is documented in the many albums on which he has appeared. Gibson has performed and recorded with Johnny Clegg, Gavin Minter, Moses Molelekwa, Feya Faku and Paul Hamner. A consummate professional, Gibson is one of the most sought after drummers in the South Africa.

An exciting and inventive musician, Wesley Rustin has worked with some of South Africa’s best known musicians, playing music since he was a young child, and then going on to study jazz at MAPP, Rustin has asserted himself as a musicians musician, and performs regularly around the country, with a wide range of artists, ranging from Jazz to more mainstream acts.

It is rare to find an original voice, in Mark Buchanan’s sound you will hear a unique and refined sound that is his trademark, coupled with his unique sense of melodicism, Mark creates a wide range of emotions, whilst remaining a clean and technically proficient player. Mark has performed with many well know Cape Town groups, namely Closet Snare and Max Normal.

Ronan has been playing Tabla since 2002. He has performed in S.A. Europe and India and has featured on many recordings and film scores. His teacher, Ustad Akram Khan is India’s master of a very rich and delicately technical north Indian style known as the Ajarara Gharana. Ronan is currently teaching and performing in Cape Town S.A. and regularly visits India to further his studies.
